First Homespun Project

The photo below was taken while the camera was affected by condensation due to the cold weather; hence the fogged-lense effect. Anya models my first hat and scarf set made with homespun yarn. I'm hoping that others will be encouraged to try their own experiments with spinning fibers into wearable yarns, regardless of the results which I admit can be comical. There is so much room for creativity! I began spinning little more that a year ago and haven't stopped since.

I have so many photos of fiber projects that I want to have a special place just for them.

The name "Knitterbug" seems apropos for this Blog since I create lots of fiber litter when busily at work spinning or knitting with homespun. Although it is useful for felting purposes, many shreds are left on my clothing, much to the delight of the cat.
